Trupti and Kedar’s Indian Wedding at Cinnabar Hills Golf Club in San Jose, CA
The story of Trupti and Kedar’s wedding is quite a unique one to behold.
The couple is originally from India and decided to hold a second wedding, one which would be for their friends and family residing in the United States. Since Trupti and Kedar already had a traditional Indian wedding back home, this ceremony would embody characteristics of a more Western theme: classical music, black and white attire, and a more conventional style of decoration.
The venue the couple chose to hold their ceremony was the Cinnabar Hills Golf Club, a beautiful venue tucked deep in the Santa Cruz Mountains. Being renowned as one of the more amazing San Francisco Bay Area wedding venues, I was ecstatic that I had the opportunity to be the photographer. The venue is home to scenic views and has grand, old oaks scattered around the property. In addition, the golf course lawn made for a perfect location for sunset photos with the bride and groom.
Upon arriving at the Cinnabar Hills Golf Club venue, I met up with Trupti and her mother, as well as the bridesmaids, who were all waiting in the bride’s preparation area. The hair and makeup stylists were hard at work getting the ladies ready and it was the perfect time to capture the excitement and energy of the room. I also had the chance to capture a few shots of the wedding dresses and rings before they were given out to each respective bridesmaid.
After working on capturing the getting ready process of the Trupti and her bridesmaids, it was finally time to get started capturing the male side of the preparations. I took Kedar, and the groomsmen out to an area with ample flower beds near a beautiful, old oak tree. There were plenty of choices when it came to the backgrounds and the setting of the sun made for great lighting.
When it was finally time for the ceremony to begin, everything seemed to be falling into place perfectly. The decorations looked amazing under the golden glow of the nearly set sun, especially the altar, which was covered with blooming white roses. The grand oak trees and the rolling hills of the golf course were an excellent backdrop, making for some particularly outstanding photographs. It was truly a sight to behold, seeing the couple and their friends and family so immersed in the intimate and binding moment that was occurring.
As the ceremony drew to a close, the party moved inside to the reception hall for the couple’s grand entry. After the MC had announced the newly wed couple, everyone transitioned seamlessly into party mode. The best man and the maid of honor both gave heartfelt speeches, wishing the couple a long and prosperous marriage.
With the last glimpses of daylight still looming around, I was able to get the bride and groom together for a few spectacular sunset portraits. The clouds in the sky and the golden rays of light were perfect and it added immensely to the photographs.
When it came time for the bride and groom’s first dance, I was thoroughly impressed by how the couple were able to maneuver the dance floor. The party that ensued was quite a spectacle to behold, as there was just so much energy and passion that came from the upbeat style of Indian dancing. It was a delight to be able to capture the interactions of the guests while they were dancing, as each dancer brought their own personality and style to the dance floor.
Trupti and Kedar’s wedding story will be one that I could never forget. Both were such a delight to work with and we were all extremely pleased with how the final wedding images came out. I was also pleasantly surprised to read Trupti’s review on Yelp about Trifon Anguelov Wedding Photography
I would like to thank the couple for giving me the chance to be a part of their special day and I wish them an enduring and loving marriage.
